We're coming up on our one year anniversary of moving to our new home in Ottawa from BC. Peter helped us find our new home. During our initial meetings he makes you feel very welcomed and like he has all these systems in place, but as you continue it seems like his schedule is stretched too thin and stuff starts to fall through the cracks. He is great on the phone and was prompt with virtual showings. During the purchase process our offer was expiring and we couldn't get a hold of him. Luckily the seller didn't have a backup and we were able to secure our new home. He did end up helping with some deficiencies that were found during the final walkthrough, which was nice, but it was a hassle to get there with a horrible seller and selling realtor. So was it a stellar 5-star experience, nah. Have we ever met in person, no. Not that we had to, but it's a little odd to have clients moving across the country and not pop in during move-in day to say hey. I was hoping we found a stellar realtor for a future home sale, but ultimately we'll be looking for someone else. Response: I like how the response glazes over the fact that you missed an offer deadline while you were off on your second vacation and then over exaggerated other stuff. Yes thank you for being willing to receive a package that the internet provider we signed up with sent too early. And also saying no thank you when the seller offered to sell us a piece of furniture. Everything else seems like standard jobs for a realtor. Gotta earn that commission somehow. It’s tough to say if your lawyer recommendation would have gotten a hold back, but they were also double the price, which would have been more than the hold back. We’ll never know I guess. We talked many times after your pop in while you happened to be in the neighbourhood. I'll take it that the thank you gift was the form letter/card that we received in the mail a couple of weeks later. Just a shame.
